We
are pleased to announce our new program for certifying
and recognizing the efforts of municipalities,
corporations, and other organizations in achieving an
important step in our critical mission for:
Energy Independence
Economic Strength
Environmental Health
This program has been created to continue to raise
awareness for the need to have a realistic energy program, and
one that ensures economic growth and positive environmental
impacts, all with American resources and workers. |
|
Never before in our history have we had such a convergence
of crises in each of these three sectors of our American
society. Through comprehensive and immediate programs,
we can once and for all have an energy plan that will ensure
that we are removing ourselves from our addiction to foreign
sources of oil. By following this plan, and using
American resources, we will also be able to create new jobs,
while at the same time, making sure that our programs are not
damaging our fragile environment, and that we protect our
children's future, and generations to come.
